Interview of Pantelis, photograph based in London.

"I never rush into anything though and when i come across a design that gets me really excited, i then know that is the tattoo I want."

I promised you few novelties on the blog and it starting now!
Plus the pictures done on the streets and the articles, I will post now interviews of people met on the web who has amazing tattoos! To know their relationship with the tattoo and reassure those of you who are still reluctant to do a tattoo or for those who don't get why having a tattoo. Or simply for the pleasure of chatting! =)

So I had the chance to interview Pantelis, a 29 photograph based in London.

Salut Pantelis, comment vas-tu?

J'aime beaucoup les tattoos old school.

A bientôt!

Hi Pantelis, how are you?
I am very well thank you. Another grey morning in London, but hopefully things will get better.

If it's start to be sunny in London, then you are lucky! I always have to keep my umbrella with me while I'm in London!
I have been here 8 years and never had an umbrella. I just get wet ! =)

Ahah! So could you introduce yourself for people who may don't know you?
I was born in Cyprus and asIi meantioned moved to  London 8 years ago. Im 29 and I am a photographer and also running an independent magazine called Coitus.

Yeah, it's a great magazine! So tell me , how many tattoos do you have?
I have quite a few individual ones that are creating a whole sleeve on one of my arms. I can't wait to start on my other arm

Oh really?! That's huge! great! I already saw a part of your tattoo and it look really impressive.
What is your relation with the tattoos? Do they have a special meaning for you?
I can't relly say they have special meanings. I like the old school sailor type tattoos. I never rush into anything though and when i come across a design that gets me really excited, i then know that is the tattoo i want.

Sounds good! =) Do you have a tattoo artist that you really appreciate? Who is making yours?
I have been tattooed by a few people throughout the years, but I now trust the work of Firth Street tattoo in London and I get everything new there. I trust all of their artists to do a great job but the last 4-5 tattoos I got were done by the same artist, Emiliano.

I know you just had new tattoos on your arm this wednesday...
Yeah, I added fillers. Basically small tattoos to fill every gap there is between my tattoos. I got a knuckle duster, small guns, plaster, diamonds, teeth and bones.

Interesting! Thanks for your pictures, now the readers of skINKED can admire yours tattoos.
Would you like to add something?
No I think it's cool... Thanx for asking me.

Thanks to you. See ya!
